Pedagogy Trick & Treat
Call for Presenters!
Is there an activity or method that you've found particularly helpful or successful in a class? Are you interested in sharing this activity or technique with your peers? We invite you to give a mini-presentation (5-10 minutes) at the Pedagogy Trick & Treat. Please email the CTE at firstname.lastname@example.org or share about this opporunity with a friend who you think would be interested in presenting a teaching trick, tip or treat. You can see examples of past presentations at the 2016 Pedagogy Trick & Treat here.
Join us on November 1, 2018 from 3–4:30 in Malloy 230
Celebrate the fall holidays at the Pedagogy Trick & Treat, where faculty convene to cultivate and conspire ... all around teaching, of course! This energizing session is about sharing our best tips, tricks and treats of teaching and will be rowdy and informative, fun and inspiring all at once. We'll follow the speed dating format: visit a table for treats (candy) and short teaching tips by your colleagues. Costumes are welcome.
How do I participate?
All USF faculty are welcome! You can email the CTE to be a presenter at the event or you can participate simply by coming to hear the presentations. It's also possible to do both!
How does it work?
You'll join a table, hear a quick presentation on teaching by your colleague, eat some candy and get ready to move to a new table at the bell.
