Social Justice Supper Club

Join a three-part dinner and discussion series for faculty!

The Social Justice Supper Club continues this fall with the generous collaboration of the Joan and Ralph Lane Center for Catholic Studies and Social Thought. This semester, we’ll extend the conversations of the CTE Faculty Summer Book Club, examining questions of justice and the Jesuit Mission raised by The Slow Professor: Challenging The Culture of Speed in the Academy (Berg & Seeber). Note: you do not need to have read the book nor attended the book club to participate.

This Supper Club invites members of all backgrounds to help create a space to reflect, learn, struggle and grow together and as individuals. As the name suggests, dinner will be provided. We’ll meet from 5 to 7 p.m. on three Tuesday evenings: Sept. 19, Oct. 24, and Nov. 14.

If you’re interested in joining us for these conversations, please apply by Aug. 31 by clicking the blue button below.
