Open Canvas

About the Program

This newish program is modeled after the original CTE Open Classrooms program, in which we invite faculty to explore the classrooms of their peers. The goal to learn and be inspired by example is the same however the twist is that the visit is virtual. The Open Canvas program runs each fall, around mid- November. Some Canvas questions you might have are:

  • What are the best ways to use the grading feature?
  • How do I incorporate rubrics in the grading feature?
  • What are some of the different tabs in the sidebar?
  • How on earth can I simply email the class from the main class page?
